He worked for the SABC as an Account Executive for Sales and Marketing.
He quickly rose to the ranks of General of SABC Entertainment where his role as a general manager included running and looking after the whole operational structure of SABC Africa on the terrestrial platforms and satellite bouquets.
He was later instrumental in setting up SABC Entrainment and DTT terrestrial migration. His roles were to set up a platform to create an environment that would enable a swift and easy transition from analog to digital.
He was also in charge of setting up of the channel structure from personnel to content gathering, thus creating a platform that would also be used as a syndication model to be applied on other platforms.
This was, in addition, used as a model to create other similar channels consequently growing the content offering of SABC and introducing stand‐alone channels in the form of SABC Kids, Sports, Movies, and so on.
He then moved to SABC Business Development, where he played an instrumental role in the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
In that same year, he was a judge in Miss SA 2010. As an attribute of his bubbly personality, he decided to take up the challenge to grow and share information gathering in the community sector.
In 2012, he was instrumental in creating the sector organization called Act-SA and he is the current SG of the organization. He won the Golden Promax Award and is currently championing JIT TV.
