WHO IS HOPE TAWENGWA?

Hope entered the Accounting and Finance world in 1995 and has over 25 years’ experience In Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Administration, Company Secretarial and Tax related matters.

Prior to joining BPS she was a Director and consultant at Knight Castle Tax Consultancy (Pty) Ltd and served in a consultancy and advisory capacity in the company to corporate and non-corporate Bodies.
She was responsible for educating, administrating and facilitating compliance with corporate tax, preparation of Financial Statements for SME’s and corporate clients for the purposes of tax administration, financial institutions and Investors.
Other responsibilities included preparation of cash flow projections and forecasts, budgeting, resource allocation and project proposals for investment purposes.
Carrying out internal audits and due diligence to put in place processes and procedures.
She was also involved in training of junior staff and interns and has contributed over the years in training young aspiring book keepers and accounting clerks.
She was also involved in ensuring that company secretarial needs of clients were met and compliant with Botswana Company laws and finally an advisory role both internally and externally in the administration, facilitation and implementation of Human Resource functions through the application of company and Labour Regulations.
She also worked at Accrite Consult (Pty) Ltd as a Finance Manager in a similar role.
She joined BPS Capital in May 2017 as a Finance Manager and her responsibilities are:
